Expanded Polystyrene System is a lightweight, versatile economical thermal wall system.  Sheet thicknesses vary between 40/60/75/100mm but can be ordered to any required thickness. Panels can be applied to various substrates such as Timber Stud, Steel Stud, Concrete and Masonry.

EPS is ideal for use in both commercial and residential applications including warehouses, factories, shop fronts, office buildings, houses and apartment blocks, sheds, patios, and garages.

Weather resistant with excellent thermal insulation properties and low moisture absorbency, EPS is the perfect material for insulating coolrooms, ceilings, under slabs, walls, and flat and inverted roofs

Fibrous Cement Sheeting also known as blue board or Villa Board is a thinner sheeting system consisting of thicknesses between 6/7.5/9mm. Application of an acrylic render with cement additive is applied to the board joints and has a mesh bedded into it to reinforce the joint movement.  Once cured generally two coats of an acrylic render are applied and can be tinted to any desired colour. The Benefits of using this system is that it is stylish and versatile. They don’t crack, swell or warp which makes them durable and low maintenance. Thermal Efficiency -Using lightweight, cement composite building materials can deliver significant benefits on warm days because of the materials’ inherent ability to cool rapidly at night. Acrylic render uses a polymer as the binder similar to cement render but much stronger, with the sand and aggregates being of a much higher quality manufacturers use clean and well sorted aggregates free of impurities. The biggest advantage of using acrylic rendering on the exterior of your home is the fact that it is so much less likely to crack over time due to its flexibility. This means that you don’t have to worry about the natural expansion and contraction of your home causing unsightly hairline cracks throughout your render.

Cement rendering is the application of a premixed layer of sand and cement to brick, cement, stone or mud brick. It is often textured, coloured or painted after application. It is generally used on exterior walls but can be used to feature an interior wall.

Solid cement rendering is a particularly good choice if you are building a new home or renovating an old home. It is perfect for internal wall rendering, rendering over multi-surface extensions and in high build areas. It also dries faster making it the best choice for interior wall rendering and minimising disruption to your family or business. 

Until recently the traditional method of finishing internal walls in Australia has been the white set plaster finish. 

White set plaster must be applied over a straight solid background therefore internal brick walls need to be cement rendered first.  Painted surfaces can be white set as long as the paint is not flaking off and your renderer prepares the surface properly. The actual white set is a mixture of plaster and soaked lime and is usually mixed with an electric drill until you get a workable wet mix.  

The white set is then applied on to your stable straight wall using a steel trowel and then continuously worked until the plaster is dry and you have a glass like finish.
